Everything You Need to Know About the Big Day

Latin Field Day is a community-based nonprofit event that offers engaging activities for individuals of all ages. Join us for a day filled with fun games, interactive challenges, sports clinics, and opportunities to connect with fellow community members while supporting a worthy cause.

Latin Field Day will be split into 6 sections. These include field day games, sports clinics, S.T.E.A.M, kids play, kids finance, and kids health.

This event will also feature some of the best Food Trucks in and out of Charleston! Check out how we have structured the event here so you can know what to expect.

Welcome announcements, introduction of sponsors, and a brief explanation of the day's activities.
Warm-up/stretch session to get everyone moving.
Announce the locations of each activity and clinic.

Get ready to elevate your game! Our basketball clinic at Latin Field Day will focus on teaching fundamental skills, from dribbling and passing to shooting and defense. Discover the fast-growing sport of Pickleball at our introductory clinic! Learn the basics of this exciting game, including rules, techniques, and strategies. FOOD TRUCKS

FIELD DAY GAMES

10 Stations- 16 people per station

There will be 2 opportunities to participate in the field day games. The first opportunity is 11:30am while the second opportunity is 2:00pm. You will sign up for either slot at registration and receive corresponding wristband. There will be 10 groups of 16 people in the 11:30 slot. There will be 10 games that each group will rotate through. The second opportunity will run the same at 2:00pm. Field day is first come first serve.

The games are sack race, balloon toss, wheelbarrow race, volleyball, tic tac toe, popsicles, hula hoop, dodgeball, tug of war, and spoon relay.

NINOS ALEGRES

The "Niños Alegres" Kids Play section at Latin Field Day will immerse children in the vibrant culture of Latin America through free and engaging activities. Featuring "Colores y Creatividad" arts and crafts with recycled materials, "Yoga con Ritmo" sessions to Latin melodies, "Rompecabezas Culturales" puzzles, lively dance sessions like "¡A Bailar!", "Sillas Musicales Latinas," friendly mascots, and "Cuentos y Canciones" storytelling, this area offers a joyful celebration of Latin heritage, encouraging community participation and creative expression without requiring costly resources.
